As the Lunar New Year approaches, Cathay Bank has demonstrated its care for the community by providing robust support to CCACC

As the Lunar New Year approaches, Cathay Bank has demonstrated its care for the community by providing robust support to the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC). On December 20, 2024, at 4:00 PM, Mr. Sean Liu (Assistant Vice President & Branch Manager) and Mr. Matthew Hsu (Assistant Vice President & Loan Portfolio Officer) from Cathay Bank's Rockville branch visited CCACC to present a sponsorship check from the Cathay Bank Foundation. It not only highlights Cathay Bank's commitment to deeply serve the community but also reflects the recognition of CCACC's impactful community services.

Ms. Rita Lewi, Executive Director of CCACC, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the Cathay Bank Foundation's sponsorship. She emphasized that the longstanding collaboration between the two organizations underscores Cathay Bank's dedication and commitment to the community. Previously, through CCACC's applications, the Cathay Bank Foundation sponsored the CCACC Community Services' ESOL Class and Senior Nutrition Program, supporting CCACC's efforts in education and healthcare. The foundation also collaborated with CCACC to host a "Financial Fraud Prevention Seminar," offering valuable life education. This time, the sponsorship continues to support activities for seniors provided by CCACC Community Services.

Mr. Sean Liu remarked that as a nonprofit organization, CCACC is consistently dedicated to serving the public, and such efforts deserve greater support from the community. He mentioned that the Cathay Bank Foundation aims to actively participate in various community activities, bringing more practical assistance and contributions to the public. This time, Cathay Bank also provided red envelopes to support CCACC's Lunar New Year Celebration.
