Police: Suspect Is Dead After Shooting Montgomery County Cop
Authorities say the suspect who shot a Montgomery County police officer in Prince George's County is dead.
BETHESDA, MD — A homicide suspect who shot a Montgomery County police officer is dead after cops tried to arrest the individual in Prince George's County on Tuesday, authorities said.
In tweets published on Tuesday, the Montgomery County Police Department said the suspect was wanted for a murder in Jacksonville, Florida. The condition of the officer who was shot by the suspect is unknown at this time.
