Dok Khao Thai Cuisine To Open By Spring In MoCo

The first Montgomery County location of Dok Khao Thai restaurant will open by the end of March, its website says.

CHEVY CHASE, MD — Dok Khao, a Thai restaurant with locations in Northern Virginia and Maryland, plans to open in Chevy Chase Lake by the end of March, reports MoCo360. The business is located at 8551 Connecticut Ave., No. 201.

The company website lists the opening date as spring 2025.

This will be the business's second Maryland restaurant and first in Montgomery County. There is already a Dok Khao operating in Columbia.

Hours are expected to be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Menu items include lychee duck curry, lamb massaman curry, crisy duck basil, fried branzino, and more.

Porntipa Pattanamekar, co-founder of Pattana Restaurant Group, which owns the chain, told Bethesda Today: “I’m really excited to bring Dok Khao to more people.”
