French Bakery 'maman' Coming To Bethesda Row This Spring, Summer

BETHESDA, MD — A new French bakery is coming to Bethesda Row this spring or summer, bringing salads, sandwiches, and Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies.

The bakery, maman, is opening three locations in the D.C. area this year, including the one in Bethesda. The bakery will have floral decor, vintage windows and antique furniture, and other touches that aim to transport customers to the south of France.

The bakery has a wide menu of sweets, from pain au chocolat to tarts and croissants. There's also an array of coffee and espresso drinks.

The bakery did not say specifically when it would be opening, or where on Bethesda Row it will be.
