Garden Club of Chevy Chase To Host 2023 Garden Tour In May

CHEVY CHASE, MD — The Garden Club of Chevy Chase is hosting the 2023 Garden Tour on May 7, giving the public a chance to peek behind the fences of some of Chevy Chase Village’s beautifully landscaped gardens.

The tour will be held on Sunday, May 7, from noon to 4 p.m., rain or shine.

This year’s tour will highlight seven Chevy Chase Village gardens, all in the East Village, allowing for an easy stroll from house to house. The Betty English Garden, at Brookville Road and Oxford Street, which is maintained by the Club, will be included in the tour.

The newly renovated Chevy Chase Circle fountain and park, which has been renovated by the National Park Service, in cooperation with The Friends of Chevy Chase Circle, will be celebrating its reopening all weekend, culminating on Sunday, May 7 with the Garden Tour.

Crossing guards will direct traffic, allowing visitors to safely cross to the park in Chevy Chase Circle.
