Why Go: Now in its 58th year, Landon school’s azalea festival is a chance to glimpse the school’s beautiful gardens as more than 15,000 azaleas reach their peak. Entertainment, a “Funland” with carnival games and boardwalk-style food, specialty boutiques, a plant sale and a 5K race and one-mile fun run are also in the works.
