Man Hospitalized After Car Strikes Telephone Pole In Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD — A man is hospitalized after his car struck a telephone pole and rolled over multiple times in Bethesda Wednesday night, officials said.

The crash happened at about 10 p.m. on Wilson Lane near Braeburn Place.

The man's injuries are not life-threatening, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer said.

The pole was heavily damaged and some lanes were blocked after the accident.
