Mark Your Calendar For Taste of Bethesda

The famous food festival returns to the Woodmont Triangle Saturday, Oct. 1.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 1, when the famous Taste of Bethesda food and music festival will return to the Woodmont Triangle.

More than 55 restaurants will participate. The festival, in its 22nd year, also features four entertainment stages. Nearly 40,000 are expected to attend the feeding frenzy, which will take over the Woodmont Triangle from 11a.m. – 4p.m.

This year’s selections include scallops, filet mingon, pasta crab and tiramisu from cupcakes from and steak sandwiches from babba ghanooj, fattoush salad and chicken kabobs from jambalaya and gumbo from and coveted meatballs, pasta and cannolis.

Several new Bethesda restaurants will participate this year as well. Bethesda’s Jewish-style deli, the will be serving up hot corned beef and pastrami, meat knish, and potato latkes, while will offer macaroons and cookies and Jiffy Shoppes will be on hand with steak and cheese, gyros, pizza, and spanikopita.

Admission is free, and tickets are four for $5. Food servings cost one to four tickets.   The event will be held along Norfolk, Fairmont, St. Elmo, Cordell and Del Ray Avenues in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle.
