Confirmed coronavirus cases in Montgomery County increased by 92 to 17,397 on July 30. The local death toll now stands at 750.

BETHESDA, MD — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Montgomery County increased by 92 to 17,397, according to state data released Thursday.
Meanwhile, two more people have died from COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus, pushing the local death toll to 750.
The fatality count does not include the 39 others whose deaths were linked to the virus, but never confirmed by a lab test. They are considered "probable deaths" — and will not be added to the official total until a lab can confirm the cause of death.
