A news release from the factory says, “Moorenko's Ice Cream begins with the highest quality local dairy products available, adds some fresh fruit, some nutritious nuts, some crazy outstanding chocolate, a little magic, et voila! Happiness in a bowl. Her dairy products come from small, family-owned, local farms and the ice cream is 17% milkfat (ultra-premium) with a rich custard base. If you haven't yet experienced this luxurious ice cream, come and taste it for yourself!”
At Moorenko’s June 25 program, participants will:
- help make a batch of ice cream;
- Tour the Moorenko's Ice Cream Factory;
- Discuss the ice cream making process and the industry;
- Learn how to determine if an ice cream is worth the price;
- Find out how to taste ice cream;
- Eat the ice cream right after it's made; and...
