BETHESDA, MD — Giant Food’s new grocery store in the Westbard Square development in Bethesda will open on Jan. 26, according to a report.

The existing Giant at the adjacent Westwood Shopping Center will close the night before on Jan. 25, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported. This Giant opened in 1959 when the Westwood Shopping Center was built.

The new Giant will be located 5400 Westbard Avenue in Bethesda.
