Organic Butcher of Bethesda Opens Store In Downtown

BETHESDA, MD — The Organic Butcher of Bethesda, a full-service butcher shop, opened for business on Thursday in downtown Bethesda.

The owners of the new shop in Bethesda already operate one in McLean, "modeled after old-fashioned English butcher shops," called The Organic Butcher of McLean.

The Organic Butcher of Bethesda is located at 7925 Old Georgetown Road. It’s a traditional butcher shop, with fresh meat, seafood and local produce, as well as boutique wines, artisan cheese, and unique grocery items, according to its website.

"Our Bethesda location is open! We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this amazing neighborhood," the store said on its Facebook page. "Stop by and see us!"

The store’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
