Some precipitation is possible during the weekend, most likely Sunday in the Baltimore area. Forecasters say that a wet pattern may expand to areas along the mid-Atlantic coast by the end of the weekend into early next week.
The warm air will not linger, however.
By Tuesday, which is Halloween, chilly weather will begin to spread across the region, with daytime highs reaching into the low- to mid-50s in central Maryland.
By Halloween night, temperatures could dip into the 40s in the Baltimore area.
"Chilly, breezy 40s may start our Tuesday. Shower chances, clouds, and perhaps waves of light rain may dominate the day," the Capital Weather Gang said. "High temperatures could get stuck in the upper 40s to mid-50s if we see as many persistent clouds as it currently appears."
