Report: Frederick Man Accused of Plotting To Kill Lover's Husband

Prosecutors accuse Frank Cipriani, 43, of luring his intended victim to a home the man was remodeling in Bethesda last month and pulling out a gun, the Washington Post reports.

Montgomery County prosecutors are accusing a Frederick man of plotting to kill the husband of a woman he was having an affair with at a Bethesda home last month, the Washington Post is reporting.

The man, Frank Cipriani, 43, lured his intended victim to the home the man was remodeling with his wife by posing as a building inspector Aug. 17, prosecutors allege, according to the Post. There, disguised in a fake beard, Cipriani pulled out a gun, but the man was able to escape, the Post reported.

Prosecutors alleged in court Tuesday that Cipriani had attempted to obtain his intended victim’s fingerprints and penned a fake suicide note before the incident, the Post reported.
