Santa Rides Motorcycle Through Montgomery County On Dec. 9
Santa Claus will ride through Montgomery County on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle during the police department's annual Santa Ride on Dec. 9.

BETHESDA, MD — Hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus and his band of elves this holiday season? You're in luck.
On Wednesday, Dec. 9, St. Nick will be trading in his sleigh for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle to participate in the Montgomery County Police Department's annual Santa Ride.
Starting at 3 p.m., Santa will travel south on Route 355 to visit patients at The Children's Inn at NIH. The journey starts at 20000 Aircraft Drive in Germantown.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no stops along the route this year. And instead of going inside, Santa will briefly greet resident patients outside the main doors of The Children's Inn.
The Children's Inn at NIH, located in Bethesda, is a family-centered residence for pediatric patients at the National Institutes of Health. The private nonprofit's facility is designed to allow children and their families to stay together while participating in clinical research studies at the NIH. Families do not pay to stay at The Children's Inn. Rather, the organization relies on private contributions to sustain its operations.
