Snow Totals In Montgomery County: Some Towns See over 6 Inches
The first snow of the season dumped half a foot of snow in some parts of Montgomery County. Here are the snow totals from around the county.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD —Snow hit Montgomery County Monday as local officials urged people to stay off the roads and local schools were closed. Some areas of the county saw more than half a foot of snow, while others saw two or three inches.
Here are the snowfall totals in Montgomery County, as reported by the National Weather Service:
- Somerset: 8.5 inches
- Langley Park: 7.6 inches
- Aspen Hill: 7.5 inches
- Four Corners: 7.0 inches
- Glenmon: 6.5 inches
- Bethesda: 6 inches
- Spencerville: 6 inches
- Four Corners: 6 inches
- Colesville: 6 inches
- Wheaton: 6 inches
- Chevy Chase: 5.7 inches
- Norbeck: 5.6 inches
- Garrett Park: 5 inches
- Potomac: 4.2 inches
- Olney: 4 inches
- Garrett Park: 3.9 inches
- Gaithersburg: 3.5 inches
- Washington Grove: 3.5 inches
- Poolesville: 2 inches
- Damascus: 1.9 inches
- Germantown: 1.8 inches
