BETHESDA, MD — The St. James is preparing to open a “performance club” in downtown Bethesda, a facility that will be a much smaller version of its flagship sports complex in Springfield, Virginia.

“Coming late 2022” signs have been placed in the windows of the St. James Performance Club at 6828 Wisconsin Ave., Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Monday. The club, the St. James’ third facility in the D.C. area, will be taking over the old Washington Sports Club space.

Monthly membership fees for the Bethesda club will be comparable to pricing at St. James’ other locations, Washingtonian reported. The fee is $169 per month in Springfield for access to the whole facility, while its Reston facility has a $125 per month fee for strictly performance club access.
