The St. James Set To Open New Athletic Club In Downtown Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD — The St. James will be opening a new athletic performance club in downtown Bethesda on Saturday, Jan. 28 that will feature 50,000 square feet of training space.

Ahead of the official opening, The St. James will be hosting an open house on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., where prospective members will get to tour the facility.

The complex, a multi-level facility with natural light, will include a high-agility turf area, a short-course lap pool, and studios for group fitness classes.

The new complex will be The St. James’ third club in the Washington, D.C., area. The St. James opened its first facility in Springfield in the fall of 2018. Its second facility opened at Reston Town Center last summer.

The St. James Bethesda Performance Club will be located at 6828 Wisconsin Ave. in Bethesda. Until opening, The St. James Performance Club Bethesda is offering founding membership rates with two options: the Signature membership to the Bethesda club only, or Washington region access, which includes access to all three locations.

Local businesses can also purchase a corporate wellness membership as part of their benefits program.

The Bethesda club will also be home to a street-level Vim & Victor Wellness Bar designed by Chef Spike Mendelsohn, with nutritious options like cold pressed juices and customized acai bowls.
