Strathmore Annual Spring Gala Features Michael Feinstein

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Michael Feinstein has built a dazzling career over the last three decades bringing the music of the Great American Songbook to the world.

He'll put his trademark twists on classic songs as the headliner of Srathmore's Annual Spring Gala on Saturday, May 12.

Mentored by the iconic Ira Gershwin, Feinstein anchors this sizzling evening of song with an eye toward the future, welcoming young voices to join him on stage.

With five Grammy nominations, an acclaimed NPR series, and concerts spanning the globe—from The White House and Buckingham Palace to Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House—Michael Feinstein has cemented himself as one of the most important musical forces of our time.

The night will be peppered with interludes from buzzy Broadway star Laura Osnes and stellar alumni of Strathmore’s Artist in Residence program Rochelle Rice, Mark Meadows, Lena Seikaly, and Christie Dashiell.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with cocktails, followed by a three-course dinner catered by Ridgewells, and culminates with Feinstein’s performance. Gala guests and concert attendees can also enjoy drinks and dessert at a post-show lounge party.
