Woman Robbed By Bethesda Parking Garage, Suspect Wanted: Police
Police said the suspect pulled up in a white car, approached a woman from behind, pointed a gun and demanded her purse before fleeing.

BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County detectives are looking for a suspect wanted for robbing a woman next to a parking garage in Bethesda recently. They've released video of the suspect in hopes that someone might recognize him.
Detectives said the armed robbery happened in the 4800 block of Hampden Lane on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, just before 11 p.m.
Detectives said a woman was waiting to enter a parking garage when a white 4-door vehicle drove up next to her. The suspect exited the front passenger seat of the vehicle, approached her from behind, pointed a gun and demanded her purse. The woman complied and the suspect ran back to the vehicle and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a Black man, approximately 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a grey hoodie and dark-colored pants.
