2 Dogs Rescued From PG County House Fire
No one was injured after a fire broke out at a home in Prince George's County Thursday morning.

LAUREL, MD -- All parties are safe thanks to the actions of firefighters after a house caught fire in Laurel Thursday morning.
Firefighters responded to the 1900 block of Knoll Drive to a report of a one-story single family home with fire and smoke showing, Prince George's County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady tweeted at 8:44 a.m.
Just a few minutes later he reported that the fire, which started in the kitchen, had been extinguished. Also, firefighters released two dogs from the home into the backyard.

The dogs were OK, and no one appeared to be in the home at the time.
