HYATTSVILLE, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Oct. 29 in Hyattsville. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case. On Oct. 29 at approximately 11 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 7000 block of Highview Terrace for a report of a shooting. Officers found 23-year-old Adam Hashim of Lanham in an apartment with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Anyone with information who would like to speak to a detective can call 301-516-2512.
