$25K Reward Offered For Tips In Fatal PG County Christmas Eve Shooting
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for tips leading to an arrest and indictment in the fatal shooting of a District Heights man.
DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the fatal shooting of Kevin Simmons, 53, of District Heights.
About 11:10 p.m. on Dec. 24, Prince George’s County Police officers responded to a shooting in the 2900 block of Ritchie Road in the unincorporated section of District Heights. Officers found Simmons inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect in the case.
