4 Suspects Charged In Fatal July 5 Stabbing In Hyattsville

Four men from Maryland and D.C. have been charged in connection to the fatal stabbing July 5 of 34-year-old Samuel Garcia Rojas.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Four suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal stabbing that happened in July in Hyattsville.

On July 5 at approximately 9:35 a.m., officers with the Hyattsville City Police Department were called to the 5300 block of Ager Road to conduct a check welfare. They found 34-year-old Samuel Garcia Rojas in a vehicle with trauma. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was stabbed after an argument.

The suspects are 18-year-old Daniel Villanueva Bautista of Washington, D.C., 23-year-old Maxwel Quijano Casco of Hyattsville, 28-year-old Josue Lainez of Columbia, and 29-year-old David Perlera-Gonzalez of Highland. They have been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
