5 Illegal Car Rallies Broken Up By Police

Law enforcement broke up five illegal car rallies Sunday night across Prince George's County.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Multiple illegal car rallies were broken up by the Maryland Car Rally Task Force and partner law enforcement agencies Sunday in Prince George’s County.

Officers focused on public roads, industrial zones and parking lots across the county, starting at 9:40 p.m. June 1 and dismantled five large-scale rallies. Around 400 people were blocked from participating in the exhibition driving events and roadway shutdowns, according to Maryland State Police.
