MD Public Works Crew Stunned By Casket Found Dumped Along Road

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Lots of items have been dumped along the curb across Prince George's County, but the latest discovery baffled officials.

A full-sized bronze casket was found sitting on the grass next to the sidewalk along Lords Landing Road. Thankfully, it was empty.

An Instagram reel showing county workers picking up the casket and removing it from the public greenspace was posted on the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation's official Instagram account.
