Clinton Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With SUV In Cheverly

A Clinton motorcyclist died after his bike collided with an SUV in Cheverly, police say. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

CHEVERLY, MD — A Clinton man has died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with an SUV, police say.

On Sept. 10 around 1 p.m., Cheverly police officers were called to the intersection of Landover Road and Cheverly Avenue for a report of a crash between a motorcycle and SUV. The motorcyclist, 40-year-old Donnell Floyd, died of his injuries a short time later. The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and wasn't injured, police reported.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash. The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all fatal crashes in the town of Cheverly. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call the police department at 301-731-4422.
