Crack Cocaine, Gun, Drugs Found With Laurel Man Arrested On Outstanding Warrants
Police found crack cocaine, a gun, ammo, other drugs and items in a Laurel man's backpack. He was arrested on outstanding warrants.
LAUREL, MD — A 26-year-old Laurel man has been arrested due to multiple outstanding warrants in Baltimore City, authorities report.
Laurel Police Community Action Detectives, working with patrol officers, arrested Quante Tyreke Sheppard after a short foot chase. Officers recovered a backpack that contained a stolen .380 firearm and loaded magazine, crack cocaine, fentanyl/Percocet pills, drug paraphernalia and cash, according to the Laurel Police Department.
Sheppard, a convicted felon, now faces additional charges.
