Dino Fest Features Fossil Dig, Exhibits, Arts And Crafts, Camp Fire
Kids of all ages can register for Saturday's Dino Fest with its fossil dig, exhibits, arts and crafts, camp fire, gemstones and more.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Families can learn about paleontology, dinosaurs and more at Dino Fest Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Clearwater Nature Center.
Called A Celebration of Prehistoric Wonders, the event offers interactive VR experiences, fossil-digging, campfire activities and more.

- Dino dig: Experience the thrill of paleontology with hands-on fossil digs
- Exhibits: Explore fascinating fossil exhibits
- Arts and crafts: Get creative with dino-themed arts and crafts, and make art with gemstones in a lapidary workshop

- Outdoor activities - Enjoy toasty campfire fun
- Live animal encounters – Park naturalists will have animals for attendees to see up close
- Meet our experts – Paleontologists will discuss the dinosaurs found at our Dinosaur Park in Laurel
