Dionne Warwick Theater Unveiled At Bowie State University, Honors 6-Time Grammy Winner
New Jersey native and 6-time Grammy Winner Dionne Warwick was on hand to view the unveiling of the theater named after her.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Music icon Dionne Warwick attended a private function at Cafe Milano in Georgetown to benefit Bowie State University April 1 before attending the unveiling of the newly named Dionne Warwick Theater in the Fine and Performing Arts Center at BSU.
The only performing arts venue in the world that bears her name, the 82-year-old Warwick was further honored when BSU fine arts students honored her by performing several of her hit songs. BeBe Winans also sang Amazing Grace.
A host of other celebrities, which included Phylicia Rashad, Debbie Allen and Tom Selleck, also honored Warwick, a six-time Grammy winner, through video messages during the celebration. Warwick is a native of New Jersey.
