High School On Lock Down In Prince George's County: Police
BREAKING NEWS: Potomac High School is on lockdown while police search for a former student who came to the school with a gun.

OXON HILL, MD — A high school in Oxon Hill is on lockdown while police search for a former student who came to the school with a gun Tuesday morning.
Prince George's County Police said a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Potomac High School was notified of a trespasser on school grounds. Surveillance video showed the trespasser leaving the school, police said.
The SRO was informed that the trespasser, who is a former student, met with a current student. The SRO questioned the current student and a gun was recovered, police said.

The current student was taken into custody and "out of abundance of caution, school [was] placed on lockdown by school officials," police said.
