HYATTSVILLE, MD -- Police have made an arrest shortly after a fatal shooting in Hyattsville last week. Police were called to the 3700 block of Hamilton Street at around 1:45 a.m. Jan. 30 and found the victim, whose name has been withheld pending notification of family, <a href="http://pgpolice.blogspot.com/2019/01/detectives-make-quick-arrest-in-city-of.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">suffering from gunshot wounds</a>, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police arrested 49-year-old Joseph Deloatch, who lived at that address, the report states. Deloatch was located in Bowie, where he was arrested. Police believe Deloatch and the victim, who knew each other, got into an argument when Deloatch shot him, the report states.
