Man Charged In Brother's Death Days After Fight Between The Pair
A 32-year-old man faces murder charges in what police say was an argument that turned physical and led to his brother's death.
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A 32-year-old Capitol Heights man has been charged in connection to the killing of his brother.
On Aug. 16 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 500 block of Shady Glen Drive for the report of a fight. They found 45-year-old Crisantos Pop Chub of Capitol Heights unconscious and another man outside lying on the ground. They were both taken to the hospital. Pop Chub died of his injuries Aug. 30, the police department stated.
The preliminary investigation reveals Rene Pop Chub pushed his brother during an argument causing the man to fall and hit his head. The second victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Pop Chub has been charged with second-degree murder and additional charges.
