Landover Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of Brother During Argument

A Landover man accused of fatally stabbing his brother during an argument is charged with murder, according to Prince George's Police.

LANDOVER, MD — A 28-year-old Landover man has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of his 23-year-old brother during an argument, authorities said.

The incident happened Nov. 4 around 6 p.m. Prince George's police officers were called to the 8600 block of Reicher Street for a report of a stabbing. They found Simi Kelly outside with trauma.

He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police.

Officers arrested Brilyen Kelly, the victim's brother, at the scene. Investigators said the suspect stabbed his sibling during an argument. Brilyen Kelly has been charged with first- and second-degree murder.

Brilyen Kelly is in the custody of the Department of Corrections, WJLA reported.
