Man Sought After Peering Under Bathroom Stall At Woman: Hyattsville Police
A woman told Hyattsville Police that a man peered under a bathroom stall at her. Police continue to search for the suspect.
HYATTSVILLE, MD — A woman reported a "peeping Tom" inside a store located in the 3500 block of East-West Highway, according to Hyattsville Police.
The incident happened July 2 around 5:57 p.m. The woman told a police officer that she was using the women's bathroom when she spied a man looking under her bathroom stall. She yelled at the man who then ran away. The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
In related police news, a man reported that he was standing outside the entrance to the footbridge stairs in the 3500 block of East-West Highway when a group of teens - two girls and three boys - walked up to him. One of the boys displayed a handgun tucked into his waistband and they both demanded the victim hand over his phone and AirPods. The victim gave the items to the suspects who them ran off. The incident happened July 16 at 4:33 p.m., according to police.
