Person Trapped In Overturned Car On Route 5 In PG County

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — A person is trapped in an overturned car on Route 5 in Temple Hills Monday afternoon, Prince George's County Fire and EMS officials said. (Subscribe to Bowie Patch for realtime news alerts and daily newsletters.)

The accident took place around noon Monday on the ramp from northbound Branch Avenue to the inner-loop of the Beltway, Chief Spokesperson Mark Brady said.

The unidentified person is injured, Brady said. No further details have been released. This story will be updated.
