Police To Canvass PG County Neighborhood For Leads In 2016 Fatal Shooting
Police will canvass a Bladensburg neighborhood Wednesday to seek information on a November 2016 shooting that left a Cheverly man dead.

BLADENSBURG, MD — Homicide Unit detectives with the Prince George's County Police Department will canvass a neighborhood in Bladensburg Wednesday night to seek information on a November 2016 shooting that left a Cheverly man dead.
Karl Anthony Sellers, 28, of Oak Street in Cheverly was pronounced dead in a shooting Nov. 14, 2016. Police were called to the 5000 block of 57th Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. that night and found Sellers inside of an apartment building. He was pronounced dead a short time later from a gunshot wound to his upper body, police said.
Detectives continue to actively investigating this shooting and are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s). Officers will begin their canvass in the 5000 block of 57th Ave. at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters will never have to give their names.
