Police Search For Driver In Fatal Hit And Run

Prince George's Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit and run that killed a 25-year-old Washington, D.C., man.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Police are searching for the driver who fatally hit a 25-year-old Washington, D.C., man and needs the public's help.

On May 28 around 9:50 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the intersection of eastbound Oxon Hill Road and Livingston Road for a collision involving a person. Officers found Marquise Maddox in the road with injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he died June 1, according to police.

The preliminary investigation indicated the involved driver hit Maddox and did not remain at the scene. Investigators are asking for the community’s help in identifying the driver. They're currently looking for a gray or silver 4 door sedan with front-end damage.
