Suspect Charged In July 2 Fatal Shooting In Temple Hills
The suspect in a July 2 fatal shooting has been arrested and faces charges in the death of 30-year-old James Page of Washington, D.C.
TEMPLE HILLS, MD — An arrest has been made in the July 2 shooting death of a Washington, D.C., man in Temple Hills.
On July 2 around 2:40 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6800 block of Old Branch Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers found 30-year-old James Page of Washington, D.C., inside a home with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The preliminary investigation indicates 23-year-old Damonte Isaiah Harris of no fixed address shot Page in an ongoing dispute. Police said they knew each other and after Page was shot, Harris took off. The PGPD’s Fugitive Unit tracked him down, took him into custody and charged him with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
