The preliminary investigation suggests the suspect, 39-year-old Antonio Lancaster of Landover, was with 33-year-old Pierre Davis of Washington, D.C., in the parking lot, both of whom were armed with guns. For reasons still being investigated, Lancaster shot at both 27-year-old Ronez Proctor of Waldorf and 26-year-old Kevon Medley Williams of Washington, D.C., who were also outside the banquet hall. Medley Williams and Davis then exchanged gunfire, according to police, hitting and killing each other. After the shooting, Lancaster fled the scene.
Detectives believe the suspect and three victims knew each other. Detectives are working to determine the motive of why Lancaster initiated this shooting.
