Veterans Day Weekend Honorary Concert, Pickleball Tourney Monday

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Celebrate Veterans Day at National Harbor with a variety of activities leading up to and on Nov. 11.

Stop by Spirit Park, which opened Nov. 11, 2022, with a patriotic tribute to the American flag and honors those who have served, from veterans to first responders, public servants and citizens from across the U.S.

On Sunday at 3 p.m., a Veterans Day Weekend Honorary Concert will feature the U.S. Air Force Band District Brass performing in Spirit Park.

A Veterans in Pickleball Tournament gets underway Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Spirit Park. This is the Second Annual National Harbor Pickleball Tournament. This year’s theme is “Battle of the Branches”—a challenge to all military branches to see which branch of service comes out on top. The tournament games will be round-robin with four pools guaranteeing a minimum of three games for all participants. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
