Victim Identified In Apartment Parking Lot Shooting: PGCPD

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case, according to Prince George's County police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Prince George's County Police Department has identified the victim of a recent shooting that occurred in an apartment complex parking lot.

Police have identified the victim as 28-year-old Stanley Ramey of District Heights.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

On Wedneday, at approximately 10:30 p.m., patrol officers said they were called to the 2100 block of Rochelle Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Police said they discovered Ramey unresponsive in the parking lot of an apartment complex suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Detectives said they are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
