Weather Forecast in Maryland: Break From Hot Temps

The week will start off with a break from the too-hot temps and spurts of severe weather. But chances for storms and sweltering heat will be back before the end of the week.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-80s.

The chance for thunderstorms returns for the rest of the week, with temperatures climbing to near 92 degrees by Thursday.

The weekend is looking slightly better, with clearer skies and slightly cooler temps, in the low 90s.

Wednesday: A chance of thunderstorms before 8am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
