Woman Fatally Hit By Vehicle On Oxon Hill Road
A 20-year-old Fort Washington woman was fatally hit by a passing vehicle Saturday night, according to Prince George's County Police.
OXON HILL, MD — A 20-year-old Fort Washington woman has been fatally hit and killed.
On Nov. 22 around 8:05 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6900 block of Oxon Hill Road for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. Officers found Zahria Jackson in the road with trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Jackson was in the road when she was hit by a passing vehicle. The involved driver remained at the scene and was uninjured. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
