Woman Killed By Falling Tree Limb

LEWISDALE, MD — A woman was killed Sunday afternoon after a tree limb landed on her home.

The incident happened around 1:56 p.m. at a home located in the 2000 block of Avalon Place in Lewisdale.

First responders were sent to the home and found the woman dead in her single-family home. The police department is conducting a routine death investigation, officials said.

The victim's name has not been released.
