Woman Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash Near Oxon Hill

A 77-year-old Oxon Hill woman was killed when the vehicle she was riding in was hit by another car on the entrance ramp for Kerby Hill Road.

OXON HILL, MD — Investigators are looking into a fatal crash that happened in Oxon Hill.

On Nov. 13 around 1:35 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Kerby Hill Road and Indian Head Highway for a report of a two-vehicle crash. Police officers found 77-year-old Erlinda Capati of Fort Washington, who was a passenger in one of the involved vehicles, seriously injured.

The preliminary investigation indicates a driver on the entrance ramp for Kerby Hill Road hit the vehicle in which Capati was riding. She was taken to a hospital where she later died. Both drivers in the two involved vehicles suffered injuries initially considered to not be life-threatening.
