AACC Baseball Back on Track with 3-Game Streak
Anne Arundel Community College's baseball team has quickly replaced a five-game losing streak with a three-game winning streak.

Anne Arundel Community College’s baseball team has quickly replaced a five-game losing streak with a three-game winning streak. After starting the season 0-5 the Pioneers won a conference contest against CCBC Essex and swept University of Maryland’s club team to improve to 3-5, 1-0 conference.
On Friday the Pioneers traveled to Essex for their first MD JUCO Conference contest of the season. Anne Arundel’s offense erupted for 17 runs to defeat Essex 17-4.

Although Saturday’s scheduled doubleheader at Frederick CC was cancelled the Pioneers utilized the time and hosted University of Maryland club in a doubleheader. In the first game AACC used a six run 3rd inning to win the game 6-4. Chris Crawford and EJ Baldwin each drove in two runs and Sam Myers accounted for a run batted in. Mark Frost and Rhyann Karr shared the seven innings of work allowing six hits and six runs.
In the second game of the doubleheader the Pioneers held UMD club to one run, winning 8-1. Kody Hines led AACC’s offense with two hits and three runs driven in. Brandon Eady also had a pair of hits and knocked in a run. Four others had a hit in the game.

On Tuesday afternoon AACC hosts Harford Community College (10-3, 2-0 conf.) in a 3pm MD JUCO contest.
