According to the Maryland Department of Health, as of Monday, the state has 566,637 confirmed cases.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Baltimore County has a total of 77,595 positive new COVID-19 cases and 1,815 deaths, according to the Baltimore County Health Department. The state has 566,637 confirmed cases and 10,757 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.
The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Baltimore County as of Nov. 8:
- 21234 with 5,863 cases
- 21222 with 5,482 cases
- 21228 with 4,628 cases
- 21117 with 4,568 cases
- 21207 with 4,333 cases

The CDC advises taking several measures to help stop the spread of the virus, including the following:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

- Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
- Stay 6 feet away from others.
- Clean and disinfect.
