Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

1. The Asia Collective Night Market event at the Howard County Fairgrounds on Aug. 20 was a "nightmare" and a "disaster," according to many patrons. Attendees reported battling hours of traffic, long lines, and overcrowding. Some guests reportedly suffered heat exhaustion, and some ticket-holders could not even get into the event. Sydney Coleman of Catonsville said, "I was so excited and it was upsetting to know that we couldn't even make it through the parking lot." (WBAL TV Baltimore)
2. On Aug. 21, Baltimore County fire and rescue units rescued a child who jumped off of a 50-foot cliff into shallow water in the area of 18100 Prettyboy Dam Road in Baltimore County. The child is recovering from injuries as of Aug. 22. (Daily Voice)
