  1. This year, more than a dozen candidates are running for the Baltimore County Board of Education. A Baltimore City school teacher from Catonsville, George W. Roycroft III, is running for District 1. Cory Koons, a scientist from Halethorpe, and Robin Harvey, a non-elected state government executive from Windsor Mill, are also running for District 1. (Fox Baltimore)
  2. Catonsville will have fireworks for the Fourth of July. The Catonsville Celebration Committee will organize fireworks at 9:15 p.m. on Jul. 4 at Catonsville High School. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
  3. According to the article, there has been a 37 percent increase in accidental bike-related injuries in the past ten years. Because of this, there is a growing community of gravel cyclists, who prefer pedaling alongside fields and forests rather than cars and trucks. Mer Parra, aservice technician and bike marketing manager at Dirt Rooster Bicycles in Catonsville, planned a cross-country gravel tour by using a "heat map" feature, which shows popular routes.
